Promotion Period: Promotion begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 29, 2009 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on July 17, 2009 (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion consists of two (2) elements: an instant win game (“Instant Win Game”) and a sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). For the purposes of this Promotion, a day is defined as the 24-hour period starting at 12:01 AM ET and ending at 11:59 PM ET.

Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry per person, per email address and per household per day, regardless of method of entry. To Play the Instant Win Game: Upon entering the Sweepstakes, you will receive one (1) game play for the Instant Win Game.  There will be a total of 871 winning moments for the Instant Win Game at randomly selected moments throughout the Promotion Period.  If you are the first to play at a randomly selected winning moment, as determined and verified by Sponsor or if no one plays at such moment and you are the first to play immediately after such moment, as determined and verified by Sponsor, you will receive an instant win message stating the prize potentially won and instructions on how to redeem the prize, subject to verification of eligibility, game play and compliance with the these Official Rules.  If you receive a winning message, follow the on-screen instructions to claim your prize by the deadline indicated.  If you are not an Instant Win Game winner, you may return to www.50DaysofGiveaways.com to play again; however, there is a limit of one (1) game play per person, per email address, per household per day for the duration of the Promotion Period, regardless of method of game play (with the exception of bonus game plays, as described below). Bonus Game Play: There are two (2) ways to receive up to five (5) bonus game plays on any day during the Promotion Period:

1. Refer a Friend: once you have played the Instant Win Game online, you can follow the directions to provide the unique and valid email addresses of up to five (5) different friends to receive up to five (5) bonus game plays. You may only refer persons with whom you have an existing relationship and who are eligible to enter the Promotion. Each friend will be sent a refer-a-friend email solely notifying him/her about the Promotion. You may not refer a friend more than once.

2. Via US Mail: To receive five (5) bonus game plays by mail, on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, hand-print your name, complete address, daytime and evening telephone numbers (area code included), and date of birth, and mail in a properly stamped #10 envelope to: 50 Days BONUS GAME PLAY, P.O. On the day an eligible bonus game play request is received, a designated representative of Promotion Group Central Inc. will play five (5) bonus game plays on behalf of the applicable request. Potential Instant Win Game winners will be notified by regular mail. Non-winners will not be notified. Bonus game play requests via this method must be postmarked by July 17, 2009 and received by July 24, 2009 to be eligible. Entries and/or game plays (including bonus game plays) generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means and entries and/or game plays (including bonus game plays) by any means which subvert the participation process will be void. All game plays (including bonus game plays) must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on the applicable day to be eligible. All Sweepstakes entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on July 17, 2009 to be eligible. Prizes are subject to verification of eligibility, game play and compliance with these Official Rules. All entries and game plays must be submitted by the specified deadline to be eligible for the applicable drawing.

When you enter the Promotion, you can also opt-in to receive promotional offers and emails from Sponsor.  You can opt-out of receiving such offers and emails at any time and opting-in does not impact your chances of winning.

In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an online game play and/or Sweepstakes entry, entries and game plays will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of participation and he/she must comply with these Official Rules.  The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. 

Sweepstakes Drawing:  One (1) potential Grand Prize winner and one (1) potential First Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about July 31, 2009 from among all eligible entries received for the entire Promotion Period. Drawing will be conducted by Promotion Group Central Inc., whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes prize per person and per household.

Sweepstakes Prizes:
Grand Prize (1): Winner will receive a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid Vehicle and the opportunity to take part in an awards ceremony at a local Family Dollar Store nearest his/her residence (as determined by Sponsor). In the event the winner resides within more than a 100-mile from dealership at which awards ceremony is to be held, Sponsor may provide ground transportation to/from awards ceremony. All prize details, including year, make, model, color, and features of the vehicle are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor and winner agrees to refer solely to manufacturer’s warranties at the time the vehicle is delivered to the winner. Winner must take delivery of the vehicle from a location nearest his/her residence, as designated by the Sponsor, and within one the forty-four (44) contiguous United States. Transportation and delivery fees shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided including, without limitation, preparation, destination and transportation charges; license, registration and title fees; insurance; fuel; transportation and delivery fees; and maintenance are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of insurance to take delivery of the vehicle. All details of award ceremony will be at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Exact date will be mutually agreed upon by Sponsor and winner. ARV of the Grand Prize is $27,995.00USD.  ARV does not include tax, title, license and other fees and costs described above, which are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Cash Prize Option: In lieu of a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid vehicle to be awarded as the Grand Prize in the Sweepstakes, the Official Winner has an option, at their sole discretion, of receiving one (1) certified check in the amount of $12,500 payable to the Grand Prize winner (“Cash Option”).  Should the Official Winner opt to receive the Cash Option as their sole prize choice, they will not receive any additional compensation, prize or award. ARV of Cash Option is $12,500.00.  Winner would receive the Cash Option prize via FedEx (or at an agreed upon awards ceremony) approximately six (6) weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period.

The award ceremony will be photographed, videotaped and otherwise recorded by Sponsor and its designees (collectively, “Footage”). Footage will be owned by Sponsor and its designees, who have the right to use, edit, adapt, post, stream, copy and exploit such Footage and all elements embodied therein, including any names, performances and likenesses embodied therein, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world, in perpetuity, for advertising, promotional, trade and other purposes without any further notice, permission or payment to participant.

First Prize (1):  Sharp 52” Plasma HDTV & Samsung Blu-ray Player & 650W 5.1-Channel Home Theater System Package, including all mounting hardware, cables and installation services. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $5,000.

Instant Win Game Prizes (871): Odds of winning an Instant Win Game Prize depend upon the actual number of eligible game plays received and the timing of the game plays. Total ARV of all Instant-Win Game Prizes is $47,224.93.

Instant Win Game Prize Restrictions:

Week 4: Fandango Movie Ticket 4-Pack.  One (1) Fandango code good for four (4) movie tickets to be used within 6-months of receipt. Fandango Codes are valid only for Internet purchases made on www.fandango.com for partner theaters located in the United States. Prize Winners must have Internet access to redeem Fandango Codes. Fandango Codes cannot be redeemed directly at any of Fandango’s partner theaters, or any other website operated by third-party merchants accessible from Fandango.com. The redemption of Fandango Codes is subject to the terms and conditions of the website located at www.Fandango.com.

Week 5: $100 Omaha Steak Gift Certificate. Certificates may be redeemed for ANY valid Omaha Steaks specials via telephone, fax, retail store, or online at www.osincentives.com/redemption, to be used within 6-months of receipt. Specials on the consumer website have to be redeemed via phone in order to use the certificate. Entire gift certificate balance must be used at ONE time.  No carryover balance is allowed.

Week 6: Makes and models of the laptop bundle package to be solely determined by Sponsor. Installation/set-up is not included.

Week 7: Nintendo Wii Game Bundle.  Wii is a registered trademark of Nintendo.  Nintendo is not affiliated with Family Dollar Stores, Inc.  and does not sponsor, endorse, approve or have any responsibility for this Sweepstakes.

Total ARV of all prizes is up to $80,219.93. Make and model of all prizes to be determined by Sponsor. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfers of prizes permitted by winners. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of a prize not specifically set forth herein as being provided are the responsibility of the winners. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Unclaimed Instant Win Game prizes will not be awarded.

Winner Notification: Potential Instant Win Game Prize winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release within a time period specified by Sponsor. Potential Grand Prize and potential First Prize winners will be notified by mail, telephone and/or email and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of date of notification. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if the required documents are not returned in a timely manner, in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements or these Official Rules or Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and, at Sponsor’s discretion, if a Sweepstakes prize, awarded to an alternate winner. All prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. If any potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Select prize winners will be required to complete and furnish a W-9 Form, including his/her Social Security number, which will be used only for the purpose of reporting the winner’s prize earnings to the Internal Revenue Service as required by law. Unless otherwise informed, winners will receive their prizes via mail within four (4) weeks of Sponsor completing the verification process.

If due to a computer, network, seeding, technical, mechanical, human, programming or other error, more prizes are claimed for any day than are intended to be awarded for that day, Sponsor reserves the right to award the stated prize(s) for the day(s) at issue in a random drawing from among all valid prize claims received for such prize(s). In no event will Sponsor be liable for more than the stated number of prizes.  If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion, or if virus, bugs non-authorized human intervention, technical difficulties or other causes compromise the integrity, administration or conduct of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect game plays and/or Sweepstakes entries and to modify or terminate the Promotion (or portion thereof), and if terminated, at their sole discretion, to conduct a random drawing to award the Grand Prize and First Prize using all non-suspect, eligible Sweepstakes entries received as of date of termination in a manner deemed reasonable by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
